Hope

A non-formal learning centre for homeless street children ran successfully for many years. Besides conducting  pre-school and non formal education, this programme imparted lessons in basic hygiene, awareness and social behaviour. We tried to motivate them to seek formal education in a mainstream school. The children were given nutritional tiffin everyday.

Udayan

The new coaching centre to educate the girl child was established in 2017 in the village Bardeuli, near Gangarampur. At present over 60 nos girl students studying from kg to class IV are being provided with quality education by capable  teachers.

Girl students are being coached at this centre by teachers, most of whom have been rendering voluntary service for the past several years.

This is an Adult Literacy Project which involves a large number of women in the villages surrounding Gangarampur in South 24 Parganas. Sarada Kanya Prakalpa

In  addition to all the ongoing supportive programmes a new measure was taken up in the 150th Birth Anniversary year of Sri Sarada Devi. Vivek Chetana introduced financial assistance for needy meritorious girl students to complete their education and enable them to build a career.
